BBC America have released a trailer for Orphan Black, which returns later this year for its fourth season. The trailer teases Tatiana Maslany’s return as all our favourite clones, with Rachel practicing her aim and Helena still pregnant. The trailer also features the mysterious, new clone known only as M.K.
Amy Adams (American Hustle) has been cast as the lead in Sharp Objects, a new TV adaptation based on Gillian Flynn’s (Gone Girl) 2006 novel of the same name. Adams will play Camille Preaker, a reporter who returns to her small hometown to cover the story of the murder of two young girls. But whilst back home, she is confronted with a mother she hasn’t seen in years and a half sister she doesn’t know.
Netflix has released the first trailer for Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt which returns for its second season on 15th April. The teaser trailer reunites Kimmy (Ellie Kemper) with her eccentric employer Jacqueline (Jane Krakowski) and her aspiring actor roomate Titus (Tituss Burgess).
The first photos have been released for a new Netflix series, Frontier, starring Jason Momoa. Set in the 18th century, the series tells the story of the struggle for wealth and power in the often violent and utterly ruthless North American fur trade. The series is expected to air sometime later in 2016.Clive Standen (Vikings) has been cast in NBC’s Taken reboot. The action series is being described as a prequel to the hit 2008 Liam Neeson thriller, with Standen cast as a younger version of Neeson’s character from the film.
In other casting news, Vanessa Hudgens (High School Musical) will star in DC Comics new workplace comedy, Powerless, about the employees of a terrible insurance company in the DC Comics universe. Hudgens will star as Emily Locke, a claims adjustor who finds herself increasingly annoyed by the carnage wreaked by the many superheroes in her city.
