Cornwall is famous for many things: beautiful coastline, pasties and knowing how to party.
Now what if I was to tell you that there’s a little know cider farm in Penhallow that holds its very own festival?
Well, on the weekend of the 8-10 September my festival comrades will descend on Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm for an entire weekend of festivities (including some classic Rattler Cyder) at the Little Orchard Cider & Music Festival.
This year the line-up includes The Wurzels (the originals), Scouting for Girls and The Neville Staple Band. Kernow King will be making an appearance to wow the crowds with his punny Cornish wit and The Electric Swing Circus will be helping us to lose our socks on the Saturday night. And a festival wouldn’t be a festival without a silent disco, and this is not one to disappoint.
Little Orchard Festival is now into its fifth year and there’s bound to be a lot of cider to taste. You could even go on a cider walk!
With only 10 days to go before the festival kicks off, tickets are becoming scarcer and scarcer. Only joking, there are still a few on their website and they’re very reasonably priced too, so get a wiggle on and join me on the muddy dance floor.
