GreenManFest1With less than a week to go until Green Man Festival opens for four days of magical music in the Welsh wilderness, nine newly revealed acts have joined the already exciting lineup that includes Band of Horses (a Culturefly favourite!), Ben Howard, Local Natives, The Horrors, Villagers and Stornoway. The festival have added the following acts to their positively jam-packed line-up: Portico Quartet, Nathan Fake, Mt Wolf, Ewan Pearson, We Are Animal, GREATWAVES, Gentlemen, Heavenly Jukebox and DJ Fitz.

To kick things off on the Thursday, We Are Animals will join influential headliner Patti Smith, in addition to Matt Berry and John Langford. This little taste of what’s to come will get festival-goers ready for the full-on next three days. On the Friday, Mercury-nominated London experimentalists Portico Quartet will play the Far Out Tent, just before the brilliant F*ck Buttons make their Green Man return with their hotly anticipated headline set.

Saturday at Green Man will see the aforementioned Band of Horses gracing the stage with their distinctive southern-indie rock, whilst the day of rest will see the adored Ben Howard wow the crowds – not to be missed!

But that’s not all…Nathan Fake, Ewan Pearson and DJ Fitz will be bringing the beats and stirring up some feel-good festival spirit after dark, alongisde late night headliners Andrew Wetherall, Jon Hopkins and Daniel Avery.

Located in the Black Mountains, Wales, Green Man is without a doubt one of the most beautiful festival sites in the UK. With ten unique areas, 1500 performers, 24 hour entertainment, comedy, literature, poetry, locally sourced food, luxury camping areas and hot showers (this sounds trivial but trust us, it’s not!), Green Man is better than any Summer holiday abroad! It’s an intimate occasion committed to great music, good times and good causes – the perfect event to create lasting memories whether you go with family or friends.

In the beating heart of the breathtaking Black Mountains, where mystical leylines converge amid ancient oak trees, something truly magical is stirring. Mischief and misrule will reign supreme in a four-day festival experience unlike any other…It wouldn’t be the same without you.” – Green Man Festival
