The Cribs have announced the release date for their forthcoming album, For All My Sisters, which will be available on March 23, through Sony Red.
Making their announcement through their website and fan mailing list, the trio also previewed An Ivory Hand. The track doesn’t sound like a typical Cribs song with its heavy guitars and rawness, instead featuring a lighter sound and giving a taster of what to expect from their sixth studio album.
For All My Sisters is the follow-up to 2012’s In the Belly of the Brazen Bull, which was recorded in NYC and produced by Ric Ocask who has worked with the likes of Weezer and Hole.
The album includes six different bundle options available for fans to choose from including a super deluxe edition, featuring the release of the Cribsmas DVD. There is also a limited cassette edition, which is not available in stores.
The band will embark on a sold out UK tour next month, including a date at London’s Electric Ballroom in association with the NME Awards Show, with further dates for a full UK tour to be announced later in the year. They will also play two in-store shows at The Brudenell Social Club in Leeds on March 22 and at Kingston’s McClusky’s on March 26.
For All My Sisters is available to pre-order now.
