private lives– Chichester Festival Theatre’s production of Private Lives has confirmed an early closure next month. The show, which stars Anna Chancellor and Toby Stephens, was originally going to run until the end of the year, but for undisclosed reasons it will now close on the 21st September.

– Brian Conley, Lisa Riley and Anita Dobson are just a host of names that will be taking their kit off in aid of charity. The household names will bare all on stage in the aptly named, West End Bares, which is being held at Café de Paris on 1st September (this sunday). All money raised will go to the THEATREmad charity, which aims to bring the theatre community together to raise awareness about HIV and Aids.

– The latest rumour doing the rounds is that Hollywood star Carrie Fisher is set to tread the boards. Carrie, the daughter of the iconic Debbie Reynolds, is said to be eyeing up a West End stint after her show had a successful run in the US a few years ago.

That’s all for this week!
