Fans of the Skylanders series can now experience the action hero adventure game on the go as Skylanders Trap Team, the latest instalment in the series comes to the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo announces.
Launching alongside the console and tablet version, the Nintendo 3DS version of Skylanders Trap Team will feature an all-new adventure, with new storyline, locations, levels and gameplay. This new 3DS version will also contain 14 exclusive villains including the evil Dream Sheep, the master villain in the game.
Taking advantage of the interactive features of the Nintendo 3DS, fans will be able to capture their own villain, trapping them in the Traptanium Vault, with the ability to summon their captured villain to fight side by side with their Skylander and unleash devastating attacks. Players will also get the chance to play as their captured villain in 13 unique villain boot camps.
Along with the exclusive villains, two new Skylanders characters will also be available to collect in the 3DS starter pack. The two new additions include Gusto, a Trap Master with an oversized Traptanium Boomerang, and Barkley, the mini version of Tree Rex from Skylanders Giants.
Through the use of the Portal of Power, Nintendo 3DS users will have access to not only the latest characters available in Skylanders Trap Team, but can use all of the toys from Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure, Skylanders Giants and Skylanders SWAP Force, bringing forward all of their abilities, levels and customisations.
Skylanders trap team for Nintendo 3DS will be available on October 10th in Europe for £48.99, and October 5th in North America for $64.99
