Never ones to take things too seriously, Mumford & Sons are back with a star-studded video featuring Jason Bateman, Jason Sudeikis, Will Forte and The Hangover’s Ed Helms. This amusing take on the bands usual videos see’s the above famous faces try their hand at being a Mumford, while having a lot of fun doing so.

While the Internet has been buzzing since the release of the video, its easy to wonder how such a great concept came around. Director Sam Jones came up with the idea of having a comical short film instead of the usual ‘band walk around field, looking wistful, then end up playing some instruments’ and his idea has certainly paid off. The video even reunites the favoured pairing of Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte when they lock lips for a passionate kiss. As a tribute to the band, the actors can be seen sporting the same hairstyles and outfits, as well as performing on stage with their banjos. The video then brilliantly ends with a slow-motion shot of the four walking down a dirt track with their instruments intact.

Hilariously excessive and a welcome change from the usual style of Mumford’s & Sons music videos, anyone else think it’s time for a change of career for the funny fellas?
