The brand has decided to step into the world of music yet again, but this time instead of plastering the front of their packets with JLS, they will be putting on a range of ‘intimate sessions’ where couples get the chance to see up and coming artists in small venues.
Durex are partnering up with Spotify, NME and MSN to bring AlunaGeorge, Wretch32, Little Comets and Tribes to a number of gigs around the UK from August onwards. Tickets are available at www.durexintimatesessions.co.uk where you can enter yourself into a free draw, the more condoms you buy the greater your chance of winning tickets (what better excuse to have safe sex!). The gigs will be venturing to London, Manchester and Birmingham all designed to bring couples closer to the music (and each other).
Durex were also in another musical collaboration last week, without knowing it, when Daft Punk and Columbia Records sent personalised packs of condoms to fellow DJs. The packs featured the cover of the duo’s new single ‘Get Lucky’, it later emerged that the record company had them made by a company who manufactures Durex condoms.
So remember this week to stock up on as many packs of durex as you can and enter your codes to win free tickets!
