The Wacken Festival in Germany is on every metal-head’s calendar as it’s one of the biggest metal festivals of the year. This year old school rockers Motorhead signed up to play the Friday night, but unfortunately had their set cut short.

The band played a 30 minute set with lead singer and bassist Lemmy Kilmister looking pale and not sounding quite as he should before finally having to leave the stage. In June the rock legend was fitted with a Defribrilator and soon after he suffered a hematoma which led to the band cancelling all of their shows in November.

The Wacken show was a one off gig to mark Lemmy’s return, but unfortunately it didn’t quite end as planned. Let’s hope he recovers soon!
