Yesterday Paramount revealed the first official trailer for Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. The full-length trailer followed a first-look TV spot on Sunday, which sent the internet into an Ethan Hunt induced frenzy.

Rogue Nation is directed by Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher) and sees Tom Cruise reunite with Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner, who also starred in 2011’s Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol.

The fifth instalment in the MI series, Rogue Nation follows IMF Agent Hunt and his team as they take on yet another impossible mission, this time to eradicate an international rogue organisation known as the Syndicate.

Joining Cruise and co are Alec Baldwin (Still Alice) and Rebecca Ferguson, who most recently appeared in Hercules and the TV mini-series The White Queen.

Due for release in cinemas on 30 July, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation is one of the big summer blockbusters to look forward to. We’ve already circled the date in our diaries.
