Laneway Festival 2020 Preview

Get ready New Zealand and Australia because Laneway Festival is back and this year it’s got a killer line-up.

Hitting up Melbourne, Freemantle, Auckland, Adelaide and Sydney, this festival is doing the rounds and bringing music to the masses in Australasia. The 2020 line-up includes The 1975, Charlie XCX, The Chats and King Gizard and the Lizard Wizard amongst many more.

Last year I was lucky enough to attend Laneway in Melbourne and it was one of my favourite festivals of the year, with a happy, friendly atmosphere, lots of tasty food and beverages (including a prosecco cart) and music to make you dance all day. They host an array of music genres to cater to every music lover’s taste, so if your friends say it’s not their thing, they’re lying to you.

One thing to know about Laneway is that it is an over 16’s event and they also have VIP ticket options. The VIP options (as we found out last year) mean that you have separate toilets and a private area to get drinks with less queuing. This year they have added more benefits such as Dedicated VIP entry lanes at the main festival entrance, $25 drink voucher for use in VIP bar and a $25 merch voucher to be used on festival memorabilia. Because who doesn’t love a festival shirt?

This year Laneway is heading to Melbourne on the 8 Feb in Footscray Park and the other dates can be found on the official festival website. Celebrate summer by grabbing your hat and your dancing shoes and getting yourself a ticket before the prices go up.
