Wire and One Inch Badge will be collaborating to host Brighton’s very first Drill Festival, which kicks off on Thursday (4th).

Taking place over multiple venues around the city, the 4-day festival will feature over 100 bands, artists, films, talks and exhibitions, all challenging preconceptions of Wire.
DRILL-Final lineup-WEBWith past Drill festivals already taking place in London and Seattle, Wire’s unorthodox approach to live performance has seen them test audiences across the globe with their unique combination of audio and visual.

Bands and artists such as Swans, Savages and British Sea Power have been carefully selected to take part in the event due to the influence and impact Wire have had on them, as well as their shared punk rock ethos.

Similarly there will be a variety of genres being showcased throughout the festival with more electronic acts such as Gold Panda, These New Puritans and East India Youth performing.

The partnership of both older and younger generations of artistic acts will provide an opportunity for all involved to connect through inspiration and appreciation. Unlike any other festival, Drill is sure to be an unparalleled experience of dynamism and new age progressions of live performance.
