With the next instalment of the Halo series not coming out until next year that leaves plenty of time for gamers to go back and play through the epic series from the beginning. To help with this Microsoft and 343 Industries has announced the launch of the Halo: Master Chief Collection.

Within the collection fans will find the anniversary editions of Halo: Combat Evolved and Halo 2, visually upgraded versions of Halo 3 and Halo 4, and the Halo Nightfall TV series produced by Ridley Scott, all coming to the Xbox One on November 11th.

The Master Chief Collection has one single unified interface and everything unlocked, all on one disc. Each of the remastered titles will run on their original engines, with an added boost allowing them to run at 1080p with 60 frames per second.

Along with the four Halo titles, featuring over 100 multiplayer maps, those who purchase this collection will also receive beta keys to the Halo 5 multiplayer beta scheduled to take place this December.
