Child of Light™, a brand new game full of originality and promise, is coming to PlayStation Vita on July 2nd. Ubisoft, makers of popular RPG-action games Assassin’s Creed and Far Cry, are bringing this new RPG out for everyone to enjoy.
The game is based on classic fairy-tales and is described as a playable poem where you follow the tale of Aurora, a young Princess on a quest to save the moon and the stars from the elusive Queen of the Night. The game captures the magic of the universe through artwork created by a small team in Montreal using Ubisoft’s UbiArt framework. I have to say it looks gorgeous and incredibly immersive.
The gameplay is a mixture of turn-based combat (a personal favourite) and platforming. The rich storyline is sure to keep you invested, whilst the game presents itself in a flawlessly beautiful manner.
Child of Light is available to download on X-Box Live for the 360 and X-Box One, on PSN for PS3 and PS4, for the WiiU on e-shop and finally on PC Digital for the magical price of £11.99. The game is also available for PS3, PS4 and Windows PC. It comes to the Vita July 2nd…the moon and stars await!
