Along with the festival’s multitude of much loved stages such as Bollywood, Shangri-La, Temple Island and so on, the welcome return of last year’s Port will not doubt get Bestival veterans excited with some of the best DJ’s from around the world.

First to kick off proceedings will be Thursday’s headliner, the exalted Beck. Releasing his first album in six years, Morning Phase, he’ll be revealing his awaited new material as well as old favourites with the perfect blend of R&B, Hip Hop and folk to ease in audiences. Friday will be when the real desert disco begins with dance floor detonators Disclosure owning the main stage, with their number one album Settle before headliners Outkast. Saturday continues the hip-hop appreciation with none other than rap luminary Busta Rymes making his first ever UK festival appearance. Expect a colossal set of intricate technique and next level skills here. Now Saturday night’s headliners are no strangers to astounding festival crowds. Since their Bestival debut in 2007, Foals have become one of the biggest British bands as well as being regarded as ‘arguably the greatest live band at the moment’.

Guaranteed to provide an immense penultimate performance to the festival, Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire – aka Major Lazer – will be tearing up the main stage with glitter cannons, carnival vibes and dance music’s most adventurous live act. But ultimately, to round up a weekend of dreamlike disco inferno, the legendary Nile Rodgers and Chic will be bringing their mammoth disco jukebox, firing out classic hits for the perfect Desert Island Disco finale.
