Prove your humanity: 2   +   7   =

The final trailer for Robert Schwentkle’s Insurgent has been released, giving fans of the dystopian Divergent series one last look at the film before its big release.

Armed with a new haircut and a tougher resolve, Shailene Woodley steps into the role of Tris Prior for round two of fighting the system. “You are living proof that the divergent problem has grown beyond all control” says Tris’ brother Caleb, played by Woodley’s The Fault In Our Stars co-star Ansel Elgort.

This sets the tone for the film, which sees fugitive Tris haunted by the deaths of her loved ones and hunted by the leader of the Erudite faction, Jeanine Matthews (played with cold menace by Kate Winslet).

Based on the second novel in Veronica Roth’s trilogy, Insurgent picks up after the events in the first film which saw Tris rebel against the corrupt society that groups people into factions depending on their their social and personality traits.

Also returning alongside Woodley are Theo James as Four, Miles Teller as Peter and Jai Courtney as Eric.

The Divergent Series: Insurgent is out in UK cinemas on 20 March, 2015.
