As production gets underway in London for the 24 revival, 24: Live Another Day, comes a last minute casting announcement – Stephen Fry (The Hobbit) has signed on to play Trevor Davies, the British Prime Minister. He joins 24 regulars Kiefer Sutherland, Mary Lynn Rajskub, Kim Raver and William Devane as well as newcomers Benjamin Bratt (Miss Congeniality) and Yvonne Strahovski (Chuck).

NBC’s recently announced Rosemary’s Baby reboot has also been busy filling out its cast with Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter) and Patrick J. Adams (Suits) signed on to star alongside Zoe Saldana (Star Trek). The four part mini-series relocates the action to modern-day Paris and sees newlyweds Saldana and Adams moving into a new apartment, only to realise it has a troubled past, and growing increasingly fearful of their neighbours when they realise a baby is on the way.

Sky Atlantic announced that their highly anticipated mini-series, Fleming, about the life of the famed James Bond author, will premiere Wednesday 12th February. The four part series stars Dominic Cooper (Captain America) as the titular author who finds his calling in life when he joins the Naval Intelligence services during World War II.

The first trailer has been released for Danny Boyle’s upcoming police comedy series, Babylon, set to air on Channel 4 on Sunday 9th February. Written by Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong (Peep Show), it takes an unflinching look at the politics of modern policing and stars James Nesbitt (The Hobbit), Brit Marling (Another Earth) and Paterson Joseph (Law & Order: UK).

Mr Bean is set to return, in animated form at least. Yes, Rowan Atkinson is reportedly creating a series of new animated short films which will initially be released on the Endemol Mr Bean YouTube channel.

E4 have commissioned a new fantasy pilot from Jamie Matheson (Frequently Asked Questions about Time Travel) titled ALT. It tells the story of Danny, a young man on the brink of moving in with his girlfriend, who finds himself transported to an alternate universe along with his stoner best friend, Milo. With assassins on their tail, the pair must race against time if they ever wish to find a way home. Gethin Anthony (Game of Thrones) and Craig Roberts (Submarine) star alongside Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones) and Jason Flemyng (The Musketeers).
