Though its seventh season may still be some way off, HBO have just released a brand new True Blood trailer to keep you going. The final season of the vampire drama will see the main action returning back to Bon Temps, where the show’s surviving residents find themselves dealing with the fallout of the Hep V virus. There’s glimpses of all the major characters including Sookie (Anna Paquin), Alcide (Joe Manganiello), Bill (Stephen Moyer), Jason (Ryan Kwanten), Sam (Sam Trammell) and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll, but no sign yet of fan-favourite, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard)…

Sally Wainwright’s (Last Tango in Halifax) newest drama, Happy Valley, is set to premiere on BBC One on Tuesday 29th April at 9pm, and they’ve released a first look trailer of what lies in store. Set in Yorkshire, Happy Valley tells the story of a police sergeant who finds herself in over her head when a complicated kidnapping case spirals out of control. It stars Sarah Lancashire (Last Tango in Halifax) alongside Steve Pemberton (Inside No. 9), Joe Armstrong (Robin Hood) and Siobhan Finneran (Downton Abbey).

Karl Urban (Star Trek) and Michael Ealy (The Good Wife) star in Almost Human, a new series from J. H. Wyman (Fringe), which is set to premiere here in the UK at 9pm on Tuesday 6th May on Watch. The science-fiction series is set in the not too distant future and follows a police detective recovering from a brutal attack who is partnered with an android. Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) and Mackenzie Crook (The Office) also star.

Sci-fi fans can also feast their eyes upon the new trailer for the upcoming fourth season of TNT’s Falling Skies. Set in the aftermath of an alien invasion, the series follows a small band of human resistance fighters and stars Noah Wyle (ER), Moon Bloodgood (Journeyman) and Will Patton (24). Series 4 of Falling Skies is expected on UK screens sometime in July, on Fox.
