A musical Made in Dagenham.
Gemma Arterton is going to be starring in the musical version of Made in Dagenham, directed by Rupert Goold. The musical is based on the film of the same name and will be opening at the Adelphi Theatre in London on November 5th.
Arterton said she was “beyond thrilled” to be playing Rita O’Grady in the show. “It’s an important story that I’m passionate about telling, and we intend to tell it with wit, warmth and, of course, a lot of singing and dancing in this production”, Arterton said.

The National Theatre of Scotland’s gory hit play is to re-open in the West End’s Apollo theatre. The theatre, which closed following the ceiling collapse during a performance of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, will be letting the play in from the 26th March until 27th September. It will mark the first time that a National Theatre of Scotland production has opened in the West End.
