It’s always depressing when summer ends, the swallow’s fly south, kids go back to school and I have to start wearing a jumper again…but for me the most depressing thing is that it means no more festivals!

This summer has seen some amazing festivals, whether it’s been in the UK or abroad, and each one has had its own quirks and unique mannerisms. Last weekend saw Bestival, one of the last festivals of the summer celebrating it’s tenth year; all those who were aboard the HMS Bestival I hope you had fun!

Next weekend see’s my last festival of the summer – Festival No.6 – only in its second year, but by jove it looks a corker! Rated as one of the UK’s best small festivals by NME, it’s not to be missed. There are also tickets left for those who want to enjoy one last jaunt before the leaves start falling.

If the highlights video from last year (above) is anything to go by, it’s going to be the perfect end to a fun-filled summer.
