500 lucky people will head down to a secret location near Brighton next Friday to celebrate Bimble Bandada festival.
At some point during this week organisers of the annual event will announce where the sixth Bimble bash, which will run from August 1st- 3rd, will be held.
This years punters can expect a variety of quirky entertainment including a lost horizon sauna and hot tub, a frolic healing area and a selection of local cider and ales.
Topping the bill as the main attraction however, as it does most years, is the Bimble Inn Main Stage which is entirely run on Solar Power.
The venue which consumes less power than a kettle has also made an appearance at Glastonbury this year and will also be present at next month’s Beautiful Days festival reflecting its increasing popularity.
The renewable tent will play host to an assortment of different acts including Dutty Moonshine, Will and the People, Z-Star, The Hackney Colliery Band, Too Many T’s and John Fairhurst.
The festival coordinators are so environmentally friendly that they even have bio-degradable corn cups for serving drinks.
Bimble Bandada is a small festival with a big personality. If you’re lucky enough to have a ticket this year, I for one am certainly jealous.
